I pre-ordered Jen Hatmaker’s latest book, For the Love, back in June. I couldn’t wait for it to arrive in August. Once it did, I eagerly read it from cover to cover. I wasn’t disappointed. Not only does Jen keep you laughing the entire time, she unpacks some difficult subjects including grace, the church, marriage, parenting, and relationships. She states in her introduction that she hopes when you put this book down you breathe a big sign of relief. That’s exactly what happened. After the contented sigh, I immediately started recommending the book to the women in my life. No matter your age, stage, or beliefs, if you are wondering how everyone else seems to “do it all” or what being a Christian really means, or what is this elusive “grace” people throw around, this book is for you.
